PERFECT SWING GOLF ANALYSIS

Perfect Swing Golf Analysis assesses static musculoskeletal position to identify a golfer's postural deviations. It then connects their impact directly with key golfing factors such as strength, shot precision and consistency, and generates a muscle-by-muscle customized corrective exercises program. Following the 6-week corrective exercises program will help the golfer improve his game, especially swing strength, approach shot precision and overall performance consistency toward ultimately lowering his/her handicap on the golf course.

The solution was developed in collaboration with University de Montréal’s department of kinesiology and Daniel Langevin CPGA, Head Coach of CPGA Quebec zone Golf-études program, University of Montréal Carabins Golf teams and Performance Golf Academy. The system uses a key aspect of golfing, balance, which in turn depends on good posture and optimal muscular symmetry.

The three steps include placing markers to acquire images, analyzing results and recommending exercises. Perfect Swing Golf Analysis identifies a golfer's postural deviations, connects their impact directly with key golfing factors such as strength, shot precision and consistency, and generates a muscle-by-muscle personalized corrective exercises program.

Personalized corrective exercise program
The golfer stands before the backdrop, and reflective markers are placed at 3 specific locations on his body, namely the left and right anterior superior iliac spine and the right posterior superior iliac spine. Knee supports are used to delimit kneecaps. Other anatomical markers are placed directly on the computer by the expert.

The first digital image capture takes the golfer’s static posture. The second image capture, taken in address position, connects posture with basic golfing movements.
The web-based system automatically analyzes the scanned images. It identifies postural deviations that directly impact key golfing movements such as strength, precision and shot consistency.
Signed off by a golf professional, the personalized report details postural deviations and their impact on golfing performance, and generates a muscle-by-muscle cor-rective exercises program.

Following the corrective exercises program will help the golfer improve his game, especially swing strength, approach shot precision and overall performance consistency toward ultimately lowering his handicap on the golf course.

Progress can be monitored after as little as 6 weeks.
